Day in the Park
Not my everyday terrain as a traveller, bike adventurer, oldschool freerider and trail lover, but for sure some good fun everytime i take myself a day to ride one.
Bikeparks.
No uphill pedaling.
No hikes.
Just good times down the hill on different lines.
Not a big fan of these nowadays very common wide and gravel packed `so to say` flow lines that do not deliver flow feeling at all, i´m loving some good feeling berms, some fun little features in mostly natural terrain.
Fast`n fun.
Technical on some parts but mostly smooth and flowy.
Diversified.
A playground for bikes that simply puts a smile on my face.
Living in an area with some of the most well known Bikeparks of the world, i can feel very happy and thankful and it changed my life and helped my career in the very beginning.
As big events, international races and super crowded parks are not what i do need anymore since years, things changed a bit.
Less time in parks and more days out in the wild now.
A new little park very close to my current home place changed it a bit again this year.
Very little altitude difference.
Just a few little lines.
One uplift only.
BUT:
ALL that built and done with love.
Natural underground as far as possible.
Family flow line for every type of riding level.
Well executed trail building with 2 tight lines through a small and steep wood section that both offer variety as well as personal line choice.
Couple fun features that flow really well as soon as you got them right and some very well built berms to have fun playing with.
Not been riding such a fun little local bikepark for a long time.
I´m enjoying every visit and it´s been a lot this season so far.
And more to come!
On top of all that:
A nice little snack bar for drinks and food, a small little bike rental + repair shop and some great local people to run the whole park on their own farmyard.
Nothing else you need for a fun day on your bike with friends and/or family.
Worth a visit for all types of riders from beginners, to families, to advanced kids, to intermediates and to all riders that are just about to have some fun on the bike.
